My area of expertise is trusts and related matters. Prior to joining Steindle Williams Legal I worked both in private practice and as an in-house solicitor in that specialist area.
I am passionate about educating clients on trust law and ensuring that they have a full understanding of the implications of their decisions. Prior to the Trusts Act 2019 coming into force in January 2021, I am focussing on ensuring client trust compliance including advising clients on trustee duties and beneficiary rights under the Act.
I also regularly assist clients with a wide range of trust and related matters including:
- Forming, reviewing, restructuring and winding up trusts;
- Resettling trusts;
- Carrying out annual reviews;
- Dealing with sales and purchases of trust assets;
- Wills, Memorandum of Wishes and Powers of Attorney
