Dillon Tan

I hold an LLB and BCom from the University of Auckland and specialise in civil litigation and dispute resolution.  I have worked on a range of matters involving proceedings where strategy and attention to detail are critical.

Recent highlights of my work (2024-2025) include successfully obtaining a freezing order in contested proceedings and persuading the Commissioner of Police to exclude my client’s property interest from restrained assets under the Criminal Proceeds Recovery Act 2009.

I aim to combine strong advocacy with a pragmatic approach, ensuring outcomes that protect and advance my clients’ interests—whether in court or through negotiated settlements.
